Rudy Giuliani: "he's no altar boy"
In the year 2000, Patrick Dorismond, an unarmed Haitian immigrant, was fatally shot by an undercover NYPD narcotics officer. Rudolph Giuliani, the then Mayor of New York City and the person ultimately responsible for the NYPD, refused to apologize to Dorismond's family. He released Dorismond's adult and juvenile records of nothing more than "disorderly conduct" and made the statement that "he's no altar boy".
Giuliani's quote of "He's no altar boy" motivated us to create this site. Is it alright for innocent men to be killed on the streets of New York if they're not altar boys? Is Giuliani an altar boy? No one is squeaky clean. If you bring up someone's past, be prepared to open your own closets and bare the skeletons. And lets hope "disorderly conduct" is as bad as it gets!
That being said, does Giuliani live up to altar boy standards? We leave that question up to you. We're building quite a library of articles from well-established sources on both Giuliani's political and personal history. We've found some admirable deeds. We've also found some things we personally find to be far from admirable. Debate it out on the forums, pro or con. Visit our Rudy Giuliani Reference Library for background information. And then head to the Giuliani discussion forum to argue your case!
